Alejandra Moran

Alejandra Moran is the founder and principal of Si! Communications. A media relations virtuoso, catalyst and coalition builder, she brings more than two decades of experience in developing and implementing successful community, marketing and media relations campaigns. Alejandra has her finger on the pulse of Illinois government, civic and business communities, proving to be a valuable asset to clients in their pursuit of promising opportunities and in helping them to manage challenging communications issues or crises. Her strategic, creative and determined approach helps clients achieve significant results in their desired markets.

Alejandra often serves as a media relations consultant for elected officials and political candidates locally and statewide. Notably, she served as the Spanish media spokesperson for JB Pritzker’s successful campaign for Illinois governor. She has also served as the Media Relations Director of the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation (ILLCF) since its 2002 inception.

 

Having developed the reputation as the “go-to” Latina communications expert, Alejandra has worked across many industries and markets, including healthcare, financial, entertainment, tourism, transportation, retail, energy, education, food and other sectors.

 

Alejandra has volunteered for organizations, such as the Catholic Committee for Human Development and serves on the advisory board of Alas-Wings, a Latina association for breast cancer awareness. She is a member of the Illinois Latino Family Commission, created under former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to advise the governor and General Assembly, which aimed to work directly with state agencies to improve and expand existing policies, services, programs and opportunities for Latino families.

The Anti-Defamation League selected Alejandra to join a special delegation of U.S. Latino leaders to Israel for an “Up-Close Look At Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.” In addition, she is a founding member of the influential Latino Leadership Council and currently serves as secretary of the board. She has also served as secretary of the board for the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce – Chicago Chapter; board member of Clear Channel Chicago Media Advisory Board; former board member of the Office of Immigrant Affairs for the Archdiocese of Chicago; and former board member of the Pilsen Little Village Information Center. Member of the More Equitable Democracy National Advisory Board to modernize the American electoral system.
